Panchayat season 3: Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Jitendra Kumar, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy and other starrer web series which released today, has instantly caught everyone's attention. The makers have successfully retained the simplicity and made the series more ambitious. Although the makers delayed the release of the series, going by all the positive reviews, it seems all the wait was definitely worth it. Jitendra Kumar, who plays the titular character of Sachiv Ji, is the heart and soul of the series. For those who came in late, the story of the first season started when Sachiv Ji's posting was made to the village of Phulera. He hated the fact that instead of the city, he got a posting in a village. However, his character eventually fell in love with the village and its people. Recently, Jitendra was asked if in real life he is fond of the hectic life of cities or the calm routine of village life.

Jitendra Kumar reveals if he prefers the hectic life of cities or the calm routine of village life
In an interview with ETimes, Jitendra Kumar said that while he thinks both lifestyles are important for him, he loves living in Mumbai. He mentioned that Mumbai is the best city to live in. The city has something which pulls you back, and to add on to that, there are so many facilities the city has. He also acknowledged that it's important to take breaks too and go back and visit our hometowns, but in general, he loves the city life, especially that of Mumbai.
In the same interview, he was asked if he gives his inputs to the writers in scripts for the way the character is written. Jitendra said that writers, whenever they write a script or character, know why they are writing it in a certain way. They know their craft, and if ever one tried to interfere with it, the person would be left embarrassed because the writer will show you why what they have written justifies the story.
