Jitendra Kumar became an overnight star after the release of Panchayat and since then there has been no looking back for him. The actor is reportedly charging the highest fees after the successful seasons and for the third season of Panchayat, he is reportedly being paid Rs 5.6 lakh per episode while the senior actor Neena Gupta is paid Rs 50,000 per episode. Jitendra who has been actively speaking to the media after the release of Panchayat 3 has rubbished the rumours and even mentioned how it is unfair for anyone to speak about anyone's salary. In an interview with HT, when asked about being the highest-paid actor in Panchayat 3 he said,"Well, I think discussing somebody's salary and financial matters is really unfair, Nothing good comes out of the discussion, and it's not even fruitful. So, I think one should avoid falling for any such rumours, they should not be a thing".
Jitendra Kumar further spoke about how the show has made a strong impact on his acting career, "As an actor, the show has changed a lot of things for me. But when it comes to my personal life, not much has changed. I have just intrigued minimal changes in my life to make it more comfortable".
