Kangana Ranaut has had an interesting journey in Bollywood. With movies like Fashion, Queen, Tanu Weds Manu, and Manikarnika, among others, she proved her acting mettle. However, her journey hasn't been devoid of struggles and controversies. Often, the actress speaks her mind, but she doesn't always receive a good response. Over the past few years, Kangana has talked about 'Bollywood mafia' and how she doesn't have many friends in the industry.

In a new interview with Dainik Bhaskar entertainment news portal, Kangana Ranaut was asked about her initial days in the film industry. Kangana shared how she moved to Mumbai in 2004 and faced numerous failures before finding success. Her first film was released in 2006, and she struggled for the next 8 to 10 years. By 2014, she was finally recognised as a successful actress, but this success brought its own set of challenges. She recalled how people initially saw her as a talented yet underutilised actress, often labelling her as "bechari." However, once she achieved success in 2014, the narrative shifted, and she began to face criticism. People started saying that she came from a small village and didn't deserve the success she had achieved. Ranaut stated that some people accused her of being unprofessional and having issues, despite her long years of struggle.

The Panga actress also spoke about the personal troubles she faced during this period. Kangana Ranaut mentioned that people she had broken up with years ago sent her legal notices, falsely claiming that they had affairs with her. Ranaut also faced pressure from industry figures like Ketan Mehta and Karan Johar, who allegedly told her to leave the industry. Kangana pointed out that if a person is truly problematic, it would be evident from the beginning and not something that emerges after a few years. She highlighted how the film industry is filled with jealousy and hatred, referencing the tragic case of Sushant Singh Rajput as an example of how careers can be destroyed.

Finally, Kangana Ranaut shared her thoughts on the darker side of success. She noted that while people prepare you for failure, they rarely talk about the challenges of success. According to Kangana, success can be so overwhelming that it can make life difficult, to the point where one might even consider taking their own life. The actress said that the side effects of success are rarely discussed.
