Actress Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal got trolled as she shared a video of them performing Ganpati aarti. Sonakshi took to her Instagram and she posted a video of them doing aarti. Sonakshi looked beautiful in blue Indian wear and Zaheer looked handsome in a light blue shirt and white ensemble. She captioned the post as 'Love grows in respect when a couple honors each other's beliefs in true harmony...Our first Ganpati after shaadi'.
Within no time, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer got trolled and the comment section was filled with various messages. One user wrote, 'Will she go to a masjid and pray? No right only want to worship idol but not to Allah! Murtad husband', another commented saying, 'Yeh shirk hai ye kesa musalman hua'. Another said, 'Astagfirullah'. Fourth commented saying, 'Totally agree with u since you r Muslim you should only worship Allah, speechless.'

She got trolled by netizens who criticized her for performing Hindu rituals. She looked beautiful in orange-coloured ethnic wear. She captioned the post as 'Happy Ganesh Chaturthi...May Bappa bring only joy and peace to all of us'. Well, the post did not go down well with the followers. One user wrote, 'Qafir', another said, 'We don't consider her to be Muslim..inka bas naam Muslim hai...Ye half naked ghumne wali kaha se hamare paak mazhab ki ho gayi'. The third user wrote, 'Sharam kar tu Muslim hai'.
