Shah Rukh Khan is all set to host the IIFA 2024 this year. The superstar left for Abu Dhabi a few hours ago and was spotted at the Mumbai airport. However, it wasn't a pleasant experience for the King of Bollywood, who was mobbed by a huge crowd at the airport. The moment SRK got out of the car, fans started flocking towards him in great numbers. The actor was surrounded by his bodyguard Ravi, manager Pooja Dadlani, and other security personnel.
In the video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, we can hear the fans screaming and cheering as they see their favourite superstar at the airport. It looks like a chaotic situation, as Ravi even has to yell so that Shah Rukh Khan can make his way to the airport. As his airport look, SRK donned an all-black look. He completed his look with a black cap and sunglasses.
Further in this entertainment news, as soon as the paparazzo shared the video, several netizens reacted to the mob situation at the airport. One person wrote, "people should give them space.." Another commented, "Are people crazy". One more fan wrote, "He is so calm, and people are yelling."

Coming to IIFA 2024, it would be held at Yas Island this year. Shah Rukh Khan will be joined by Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal as the hosts for the main event, which will be held on September 28. The list of performers includes Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal, and several others. Fans are excited to see SRK return as a host of an award show after a long time.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki (2023). It also stars Vicky, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and several others. SRK's next is Sujoy Ghosh's thriller film King. The movie also stars Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles. The shooting is expected to start next year. The superstar will then work on YRF's Pathaan 2. It is a sequel to his 2023 blockbuster Pathaan, which also starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
