Game Changer stars Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali and SJ Suryah in the lead roles have reportedly collected Rs 6.9 crore net in India on its fourth day as per reports in Sacnilk. Shankar's directorial is not performing as expected at the box office. The film collected Rs 6.9 crore net in India on Monday and the total of the film is around Rs 95.4 crore net in India.
Game Changer made Rs 51 crore net in India on its opening day. There was a steady decline over the weekend as the film earned Rs 21.6 crore net on Saturday and Rs 15.9 crore net on Sunday.
Game Changer was released during the festival week and is facing competition from Balakrishna-starrer Daaku Maharaaj, which was released on January 12. Daaku Maharaaj collected Rs 21 crore on its opening day, as per the early estimates. It also has a face-off with Venkatesh-starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which will be released on January 14. Game Changer had just 12.79% occupancy in the morning and 21.60% in the afternoon shows in Telugu versions. Well, it is time to see whether the film will do well on January 14, 15, and 16 with Sankranthi, Kanuma, and Mukkanuma falling on these dates.
The film also fell prey to piracy on release day and an HD print of the film was leaked online. Producer Dil Raju filed a complaint with the cyber police against the pirates who leaked the film. Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John which had released on December 25 witnessed a mediocre opening. The film earned Rs 12.5 crore at the box office on its first day and is produced by Atlee and directed by Kalees. Recently, Game Changer crossed the lifetime domestic earnings of Shankar's previous film Indian 2 headlined by Kamal Haasan.
