Badass Ravikumar box office collection day 3: Himesh Reshammiya's much talked about release, Badass Ravikumar, opened to a decent start at the box office, and managed to outpace Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's hilarious romantic drama Loveyapa on its first day. However, the momentum has started to fade as the film finds it tough to engage the viewers.
According to Sacnilk, on its opening day, Badass Ravikumar collected 2.75 crore while Loveyapa could mint 1.15 crore. On day 2, the film earned another 2 crore. The earnings dipped on day 3 as the film could only earn 1.17 crore. With this, it's total earnings amounted to 5.92 crore.
On Sunday, the film witnessed an overall 12.51% Hindi occupancy. While the morning shows saw 5.22%, afternoon shows witnessed 12.81%, and evening shows had 18.41%. Even though there has been a decline, Badass Ravikumar is still ahead of Junaid and Khushi's Loveyapa which managed to mint 4.25 crore at the domestic box office.
Since it's release, Himesh's film has been getting mixed reviews. While some fans lauded it, others slammed it for being "illogical." The film has been directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies.
Besides Himesh Reshammiya, the film also features Prabhu Deva, Kirti Kulhari, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever in supporting roles. Badass Ravikumar - a spin-off of The Xpos which had released in 2004 - is the second instalment in The Xpos Universe.
