Actress Dipika Kakar, who is receiving praise in Celebrity MasterChef, had an emotional moment as she announced her exit from the show due to her shoulder injury. During the Holi special episode, Dipika left everyone emotional with her decision to quit the show midway and shared her struggles with continuing the competition.
Dipika said, "The situation has worsened. There is stiffness due to the injury, and it is increasing in my back as well." Judge Ranveer Brar asked Dipika, "How will you cook then?" Dipika replied with a heavy heart that she would not be able to cook.
Dipika later joined judge Farah Khan and shared how she had been pushing herself despite medical advice from her doctor. Dipika said, "Two weeks back when the injury happened, the doctor had told me the only solution was to rest. But I kept going, took breaks, and came back. However, being here and not being able to give my best doesn't feel right because I constantly have to be cautious about my hand".
Ranveer confirmed that Dipika will not continue in the next elimination round and confirmed her exit from the show. Dipika expressed her gratitude before leaving the show as she thanked everyone for empathically supporting her.
Dipika later took to her vlog and spoke about her journey as she said, "I have learned so much. It was crazy fun and special because I was doing something I love. I will miss the show, but sometimes things are not in your control. Maybe my Celebrity MasterChef journey was meant to end here. Now, my focus is on recovery and coming back stronger".
Talking about Celebrity MasterChef's recent episode, food entrepreneur Zorawar Kalra joined as contestants took on the Black Apron challenge after taking inspiration from their parents' blessings. As per reports, Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, Faisal Shaikh and Rajiv Adatia are in top 5. Kabita Singh got eliminated from the show.
