Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's latest romantic comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf has been performing decently at the box office over the weekend. As per Sacnilk reports, the film has earned Rs 16 crores in India with collections within four days. The numbers showcase the steady growth driven due to strong performances by the lead cast. The movie managed to open on Friday with Rs 7 crores and saw a rise on Saturday. The film collected Rs 9 crores roughly, while on Sunday the movie managed to earn Rs 11.25 crore (rough data) marking a 18.42 jump in the collections. The total collection of the film is around Rs 27.75 crores. The film's time-loop concept and romantic comedy have grabbed eyeballs. Directed by Karan Sharma, Bhool Chuk Maaf stars Seema Pahwa, Raghubir Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Zakir Hussain in interesting roles.
Tom Cruise's action film Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning hit the big screens on May 17. The film has given the best start at the box office and the movie is performing well in India. Tom Cruise's film has completed its second-weekend run and has collected Rs 70 crore as of now. The film collected Rs 7 crore on its second Sunday and on day 8 it witnessed steady growth over the second weekend. On day 9, the film collected Rs 72.30 crore and has been facing competition from Final Destination: Bloodlines which has earned Rs 43.10 crore in India in 11 days. As per Sacnilk.com, the film collected Rs 5.75 crore on day 3 and Rs 5.75 crore on day 4. The film stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, and Angela Bassett in pivotal roles.
The film has started its run towards Rs 100 crore club. Mission: Impossible Final Reckoning, directed by Christopher McQuarrie and co-produced by Cruise has been released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in 4DX and IMAX. The film is presented by Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions.
