Popular television actress Dipika Kakar, who recently underwent a 14-hour surgery for stage 2 liver cancer is not stable. The actress has been moved out of the ICU. She could not celebrate Eid with her family as she was hospitalized and her family had sent her Eidi.
Now her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim shared a new vlog from the hospital and showed Dipika getting emotional as she spoke to her fans and well-wishers for the first time after her surgery. The video began with Shoaib seeing Dipika as she attempted to walk and eat on her own. He even told everyone that she has started to walk again and is on a regular diet. Shoaib shared her health update with all his fans.
Dipika Kakar got panic
Shoaib shared that her reports have been improving since the surgery but the recovery has not been easy. He revealed that Dipika experienced severe coughing and had pain in the stitches which became worse. "She finally got some good sleep after three days in the ICU," he said. Shoaib even revealed that Dipika's biggest fear was to stay alone in the Intensive Care Unit. "ICU ke naam se vo bahut ghabra rahi thi," Shoaib said. He further added sayign, "Doctor ne kaha surgery ke baad ICU mein rehna hoga, toh vo panic kar gayi thi. Vo baar baar keh rahi thi ki Shoaib, mai ICU mein akele hogi." He also spoke about her anxiety over the medical tubes placed in her nose when she was in ICU.
Shoaib is a doting husband and he decided to manage everything himself to reduce the risk of infection for Dipika. He did not allow family members to visit Dipika in the hospital and their son Ruhaan was not permitted to stay overnight. The actor expressed gratitude towards their family who took care of Ruhaan in Dipika's absence and thanked them for their support.
Shoaib ended the vlog as Dipika got emotional. He said that the surgery had left her more sensitive. Dipika was seen thanking all her fans and the people she encountered during her hospital stay. Shoaib's mother and Dipika's mom came to meet Dipika. She was seen getting pampered by both mothers. Dipika was seen hugging Ruhaan and playing with him in the hospital room.
