June witnessed release of some of the most-awaited movies. On June 27, Vishnu Manchu's film Kannappa made it to the theatres. Prior to this mythological action thriller, Aamir Khan's movie Sitaare Zameen Par and Dhanush-starrer Kuberaa made it to the screens on June 20. Now, all the three films are entertaining the masses and giving each other competition in terms of box office. Kannappa box office collection
Vishnu Manchu's movie took a good start at the box office. The film directed by Manoj Kumar Singh turned out to be actor's career best box office opener. Kannppa made around Rs 9.35 crore at the box office on day 1. However, it witnessed a drop on day 2. As reported by Sacnilk.com, the movie made approximately Rs 7 crore on its first Saturday, i.e., day 2. Despite being a weekend, the film witnessed a drop in numbers. However, these are the early estimates. The total collection stands at Rs 16.35 crore.
Sitaare box office collection
Aamir Khan's movie is doing wonders at the box office. Even on its second Saturday, the film showed an excellent hold. In fact, the numbers almost doubled from second Friday. As per reports, Sitaare Zameen Par made around Rs 12.75 crore on day 9, i.e., second Saturday. The film had collected Rs 6.65 crore on day 8. The total collection has now crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore. The Net India collection of the film is said to be around Rs 108.30 crore approximately.
Kuberaa box office collection
Like Sitaare Zameen Par, Dhanush' movie also showed growth in numbers on day 9. As per the reports, the film made approximately Rs 4.25 crore on second Saturday. It had made around Rs 2.5 crore on day 8. Thus, the movie has shown growth and is hoping to clock a good second Sunday as well. The total collection of the movie is 75.75 crore.
