Farhan Akhtar's Don 3, which features Ranveer Singh as the protagonist, has been making headlines since the time the project was announced. Earlier, Kiara Advani was roped in for the project, but reports suggested that she had to quit the project because of her pregnancy. Kriti has reportedly replaced Kiara, which is also evident from her reported frequent visits to Excel Entertainment in the last few months.
Kriti Sanon had recently stepped out for dinner in Mumbai with her sister and friends. It was during this visit that paparazzi referred to her as 'Lady Don'. On hearing this, Kriti blushed while approaching her vehicle, which many felt was a subtle hint that talks and plans are underway about her doing Don 3.

As evident from the video, which has now gone viral on social media, Kriti was being clicked by paparazzi when one photographer said, "Kriti ji, Don 3. Lady Don. Rukiye na yaha pe Lady Don". Even though Kriti tried her best not to react, she failed at containing her smile. Even though she didn't utter a word, she beamed with joy, which was enough for fans to be convinced that the news of being the new 'Lady Don' could be correct.
Pinkvilla had earlier reported that Kriti Sanon was expected to get her official stamp of approval for the offer soon. "Farhan Akhtar and the creative team of Excel Entertainment were looking to cast an experienced actress with a screen presence on board Don 3, and Kriti Sanon fits the bill like hand in glove," a source had told Pinkvilla.
