The movie opened to positive reviews with many calling it a beautiful movie around modern love. The Bollywood movie has released two weeks after the release of Aamir Khan's film Sitaare Zameen Par that is still running in the theatres. As reported by Sacnilk.com, Aditya Roy Kapur-Sara Ali Khan's movie has made around Rs 3.35 crore net collection in India. It has taken a slow start but it is anticipated that the positive word-of-mouth will help the movie to witness a jump in box office numbers. The collection is much better than the box office collection of its predecessor - Life In A Metro. The movie that released in 2007 had earned Rs 85 lakhs on its opening day as reported by entertainment news portal Koimoi.com. Now, all eyes are on the opening weekend collection of Metro...In Dino.

Aamir Khan's movie is performing well at the box office since its day 1. The movie revolves around a basketball coach who is assigned to coach Neurodivergent adults as a part of his community service. Given its subject, the movie received good reviews and fans called it a heart-touching movie. In terms of box office, Aamir Khan-starrer had taken a Rs 10 crore opening. On its day 15, the movie has made around Rs 2.50 crore approximately. These are the early estimates. The total collection of the film now is approximately Rs 137.90 crore.
