Zumair Khaja, an Instagram user, posted a video of the artist playing Sexy Bitch, his joint song with David Guetta, for the VIP area audience. He was frequently observed pulling up his trousers when the front-row fans attempted to pull them down throughout the performance. But Akon didn't lose his cool and kept singing his song.
How netizens reacted?
Netizens voiced their anger shortly after the video went viral on social media, denouncing the bullying and labelling the behaviour as harassment. Akon is an international musician who flew to India to perform, and many criticised the lack of respect shown to him.
A user wrote, "This is sad, they were harassing him live on stage. He is an international artist trying to perform for them and they are just harassing him." Another user commented, "What is this bro? This is highly unacceptable."
However, other viewers also pointed out that Akon seemed to be lip-syncing the whole time.

Ahead of his shows in India, Akon had said, "India has always shown me so much love -- it's like a second home. The energy, the culture, the fans... it's on another level. I'm beyond excited to be back and perform live for y'all. This tour is gonna be something special -- let's make history together!"
