Thamma box office collection day 13: The Aditya Sarpotdar-directed movie Thamma has been performing well in India. The horror-comedy Thamma has made Rs 120.05 crore so far, according to Sacnilk.com. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, it was written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Falara and stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddique in key roles.

In its first week, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna movie brought in Rs 108.4 crore (Rs 107.52 crore in Hindi and Rs 88 lakh in Telugu). On day 11, it made Rs 3 crore (in Hindi: Rs 3 crore), and on day 12, it made Rs 4.4 crore (in Telugu: Rs 2 lakh; in Hindi: Rs 4.38 crore). According to the industry tracker, the movie made Rs 4.25 crore nett on day 13 in India. It has made Rs 120.05 crore so far.

 

Thamma beats Sky Force's lifetime haul

 

It's interesting to note that Thamma has surpassed the Rs 112.75cr lifetime total of Akshay Kumar's Sky Force. Ayushmann Khurrana has been dubbed Captain America of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe by fans as Thamma continues to win hearts. However, Ayushmann reacted to the same and stated, "Mat kar lala. Nahi chahiye hume bahar ki validation (Don't do this, we don't need the outside validation). No comparison, this is our desi universe. So Thamma is Thamma."

The fifth installment of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe is Thamma. The film also has Paresh Rawal in important role. The narrative centres on Ayushmann's character, who transforms into a vampire and develops feelings for Rashmika's character, leading to a "bloody love story" full of unexpected twists. He portrays a submissive journalist who changes into a vampire.
