Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 8: Ranveer Singh-starrer REFUSES to slow down, SMASHES records in second week, earns RS…

Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh's new film, is doing great business and making a lot of noise at the box office. The film was among the topmost expected releases of the year, and it has not only met but also exceeded the expectations after its release by performing wonderfully. This spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, shows no signs of slowing down at the box office. The film has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark in India and is rapidly heading towards the Rs 300 crore club.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 8

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned approximately Rs 32 crore on its eighth day, which was the second Friday of its release. In terms of theatre occupancy, the film recorded a total Hindi occupancy of 45.81 percent on Friday. Morning shows saw slightly lower attendance, with occupancy at around 19.64 percent. However, this increased to 37.37 percent during the afternoon shows. By evening, there was a tremendous increase in audience numbers, and the occupancy reached approximately 53.08 percent.

This figure is particularly significant because films typically see a drop in earnings on their second Friday. However, this was not the case with Dhurandhar. It is expected that the film's earnings will see another surge on the coming Saturday and Sunday, similar to what happened during the first weekend.

Dhurandhar vs Chaava box office collection

Dhurandhar is also being compared to Vicky Kaushal's film Chaava at the box office. Although Dhurandhar lagged behind by a few crores in its first week's earnings, it is now poised to break records in its second weekend. 'Chaava' earned Rs 107.50 crore in its second weekend. Dhurandhar' is proving to be extremely special for Ranveer Singh's career and one of the biggest blockbusters of his career. This film could set a new record for him and surpass the second-week collection of his superhit film Padmaavat (Rs 69.5 crore). His other hit film, Simmba, earned approximately Rs 61.62 crore in its second week. Considering the current pace, it can be said that Dhurandhar could achieve a weekend collection of over Rs 100 crore in the coming days.
