Parineeti Chopra says being Priyanka Chopra’s sister hasn’t helped her survive in Bollywood

Parineeti Chopra proved her mettle in Chamkila all over again that she is one of the finest actors in Bollywood. After witnessing the success, Pari has spoken about the industry working more on favouritism compared to nepotism. Parineeti who made her mark in Bollywood and many had a perception of her being Priyanka Chopra's sister has helped her survive in Bollywood. However, Pari strongly refused these claims and in her latest interview and declared that being Priyanka's sister hasn't helped in her career.

Priyanka Chopra who calls herself the shield of her cousins in Bollywood hasn't spoon-fed them for their survival in the industry reveals Parineeti Chopra.

In her latest interview with TOI, Parineeti was asked about having an unfair advantage over being Priyanka Chopra's sister, to which she said," If being related to Priyanka Chopra could've helped my career, then I wouldn't have had any flops in my career. I've seen such lows in the last 10 years."

In the same interview, Parineeti admitted that being associated with someone from the industry can help you get an easy chance for the first time and later one has to survive on its own," Every person who has had some association in the industry is actually under a lot of pressure. You might get your first chance, first audition, first meeting, but after that, you're on your own and it's more difficult to prove yourself. The comparisons will never end. So, what happens is, you can be a complete outsider, and it's very difficult to survive. Or, you could be related to somebody and get that first meeting, but after that, your journey is your own."

Parineeti Chopra in her latest interview even claimed that the industry may or may not work on nepotism but definitely on favouritism. The actress added that how work opportunities are created at parties, dinners, and lunches, and if one is not a part of it, then you lose getting work sighting her own example. After Chamkila, Pari's fans claimed that her era is back and they want her to continue doing such amazing work.
