Mukesh Khanna now often makes it to the headlines for his strong opinions on latest films, TV shows and more. He once gave out a very strong review of Kapil Sharma's show and called it 'vulgar'. When the cast of Mahabharat appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show, Mukesh Khanna chose to not be a part of it and then termed the show 'ashleel'. On social media, he has commented saying that he was invited for the Mahabharat reunion episode on The Kapil Sharma Show, however, he was the one to decline the invitation.
Now, there is another video of Mukesh Khanna doing the rounds on the web and entertainment news portals where is talking about comedian and host Kapil Sharma. In an interview, Mukesh Khanna is talking about his first encounter with Kapil Sharma. He narrates that they met at an award function. Mukesh Khanna was awarded for the show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha. Kapil Sharma was also receiving an award as his show had begun. So Mukesh Khanna narrated that Kapil Sharma came running and sat next to his seat in the front row. He, however, did not share any pleasantries. Mukesh Khanna called Kapil Sharma's behaviour 'asabhya' as he did not make an effort to talk or ask how he was doing. Mukesh Khanna may not know Kapil Sharma but the comedian knew who he was, stated the Shaktimaan actor. He also added that he does not feel bad about it is 'asabhya'.

Mukesh Khanna earlier hit headlines as he made very strong comments against Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's movie Adipurush. He had called Om Raut's movie a big disrespect to Ramayana. He had also slammed writer Manoj Muntashir for the dialogues he penned for Adipurush.
