Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule was released on December 5, and the action-thriller film remains unstoppable at the box office. The producers, Mythri Movie Makers, have finally announced that it has achieved the distinction of being the fastest Indian film to cross the Rs 1800 crore milestone. Pushpa 2: The Rule is now all set to beat Aamir Khan's blockbuster Dangal (2016), which has also reached a benchmark.
As per the industry tracking website Sacnilk, Pushpa 2: The Rule has experienced its lowest single-day earnings on its 30th day of release. On January 3, the film managed to earn a nett collection of Rs 3.85 crore and also witnessed a 21% drop from Rs 5 crore on Thursday to Rs 3.85 crore on Friday. The film outperformed the recently released Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John and the animated film Mufasa: The Lion King, among others. Pushpa 2: The Rule's net total is Rs 1193.6 crore.

The Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil-starrer is directed by Sukumar. The film had a massive opening weekend and it collected Rs 725.8 crore. In its second week too, with a total gross of Rs 264.8 crore and in its third week it collected Rs 129.5 crore. In the fourth week, the film collected Rs 69.65 crore. A sequel titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage, has been announced.
