Karisma Kapoor's former husband and popular industrialist Sunjay Kapur succumbed to heart attack on June 12. Going by media reports, he was playing polo in the UK at the time of his death. He was 53.
Sunjay was currently married to Priya Sachdev. The news of his demise was confirmed by actor and author Suhel Seth, who took to X to express his grief.

Several celebrities were seen rushing to Karisma's residence to offer condolences following Sanjay's sudden demise. In a recent video featuring Kareena Kapoor, the actor was seen reaching Karisma's house to pay her respects and condolences. Kareena was accompanied by husband, Saif Ali Khan.
In another viral video, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora too were spotted outside Karisma's house late at night.

Sanjay and Karisma got married in 2003. However, the couple parted ways in 2014 following an ugly battle marked by allegations from both parties.
Both have two children - daughter Samaira and son Kiaan. Their divorce was finalised in 2016. A year later, in 2017, Sunjay married model Priya Sachdev. They have a son, Azarias.
